Child
Friendly Wedding.
A wedding is always
exciting. A lot of planning and preparation go into action so that the wedding
will be memorable meaningful and as one-of-a-kind as the marrying couple. Yet,
each couple has consideration unique to them. There are couples where both partners
marry for the first time. There are couples where one or both partners have been
married before but have no children. There are couples where one or both partners
have been married before and have children. And there are December couples who
often have children and grandchildren. We also have a page on child
friendly weddings in Mauritius island. For
destination weddings, couples are increasingly looking for a specialised
resort or property which can entertain and look after kiddies during a wedding
and honeymoon vacation. Many, though not all marrying or re-marrying couples are
looking for ways to integrate the children into the wedding ceremony and / or
reception in such a way that it will become a Family Wedding. Many brides agonize
over the question of whether to invite children to their wedding. Regardless of
whether you want to invite your younger guests or feel obligated to do so, it
is important to remember that even the most cheerful and well behaved child can
become bored and disruptive - with three young children I speak from experience!
Take a child out of his or her normal surroundings, put them into ‘special’ and
uncomfortable clothes, break their routine, land them in an adult setting - and
it won’t be long before they are tired and bored. How can you keep kids entertained
and having fun, enabling parents to enjoy themselves? How can you avoid ‘episodes’
at your wedding? Particularly with a safari wedding
in Africa, it is important to deal with a wedding a tour operator specialist
as many safari lodges, game lodges and camps do not allow children below a certain
age. Other safari lodges are extremely child friendly and have safari programs
geared towards children with kiddie activities. |

| | There
are so many options available for a child friendly wedding in Africa and the Indian
Ocean islands. With its first world infrastructure, favourable exchange rate and
varied attractions, South Africa is a great family holiday destination. Children
of a sufficient age to walk and talk and communicate with ease will find a visit
to a game reserve or national park fascinating. Many of the private game
reserves do not allow children, but some particularly welcome them, and many that
do allow children don't allow them on game drives, unless the whole vehicle is
taken by one family or party, so do your homework. Bear in mind that the
main game viewing destinations are in malarial areas, where it is risky for young
children and pregnant women, so you might want to stick to the Eastern Cape, Northern
Cape and North West Province reserves. As a rule the national parks are very child-friendly,
with self-catering family chalets and perhaps even playgrounds | |

Ideal for family reunions. Beach holidays are another great
favourite with families and, with such a long coastline, there are some really
good options. The Wild Coast, in the Eastern Cape, is a favourite with local families,
and many of the hotels have special children's programmes, playgrounds, children's
dining areas and baby sitting services. The Garden Route is a good option if you're
looking for a more exclusive experience, as there are a number of luxurious hotels
and guesthouses that cater specifically for families, and many child-friendly
attractions like a monkey park and walks with elephants. Dolphin and whale watching
is another experience most children would never forget. search
